About Unai
Hello! My name is Unai Santamaría. I am a qualified primary school teacher from Spain, and I am currently studying English Philology. I work at a preschool in Dublin, and in my free time, I would love to share my knowledge of Spanish by offering private lessons. As a native Spanish speaker, I aim to provide authentic, clear, and engaging learning experiences. I am passionate about teaching and creating a supportive environment where students feel confident and motivated to improve.

I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, goals and learning style. My teaching is based on communication, real-life use of the language and clear explanations of grammar when needed. With children, I use games and visuals; with teenagers and adults, I focus more on conversation, pronunciation and structured learning.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes, but can be extended to 90 if requested.
I am a native Spanish speaker, with a degree in Primary Education and currently studying Spanish Philology. I have four years of experience as a private tutor and I work in a childcare centre in Dublin.
I teach students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced, helping with exams, grammar, fluency and confidence in speaking.
