About Paola
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Translation/Interpretation Studies from California State University, Long Beach. I grew up speaking Spanish at home and also studied abroad in Spain in college. Additionally, I worked as a Spanish translator with the U.S. Government for 5 years and have experience teaching Spanish to middle school and high school students.

Paola has helped me improve my conversational Spanish skills immensely. She creates lesson plans based on my goals and is a creative and enthusiastic teacher. What I like most about Paola's teaching style is that her lessons offer a more immersive approach. That is, her lessons focus on real-life situations (i.e. ordering food at a restaurant) as opposed to just teaching vocabulary and grammar without any context.
