About Aaron
Hey there, future rockstars! I’m Aaron Norton, a solo artist with a passion not just for playing music, but for sharing it with others. My journey with the guitar has been an incredible ride, filled with highs, lows, and countless melodies. And while performing is a thrill, there’s a unique joy in passing on the knowledge and watching someone else’s musical journey take flight.
So, why do I want to teach? Simple. I believe in the transformative power of music. I’ve seen firsthand how picking up a guitar can change lives, boost confidence, and provide an outlet for self-expression. Every time a student hits that chord perfectly or masters a tricky riff, it reminds me of why I started playing in the first place.
Teaching for me isn’t just about techniques and scales; it’s about igniting a spark, nurturing a passion, and building a lasting bond over shared musical experiences. I want to be more than just your teacher; I want to be your mentor, your guide, and your biggest cheerleader as you embark on this exciting musical adventure. Let’s make some music together!

Let’s get one thing straight: learning the guitar should be an absolute blast! Sure, there might be a few challenging chords and riffs along the way, but remember, every strum is a step closer to serenading with your favourite tunes. Now, you might be thinking, ‘Do I dive straight into playing songs or get into the nitty-gritty of guitar theory?’ Well, why not both? My teaching philosophy marries the thrill of playing along with hit songs and the satisfaction of those ‘aha!’ moments when the mysteries of the fretboard unravel.
Here’s the deal: I’m a firm believer in a chord-centric approach. Why? Because once you get the hang of chords, everything else – from scales to riffs – starts to fall into place. It’s like having a roadmap of the entire guitar neck! And with this roadmap, you’re not just playing; you’re creating, improvising, and truly making the instrument sing.
So, if you’re looking for a guitar journey that’s equal parts exhilarating and enlightening, look no further. I’m not just here to teach; I’m here to mentor, guide, and ensure that every lesson feels like a jam session with a mate. Trust me, with my approach, you won’t just learn the guitar; you’ll live it!
