About Taizeen
I am a software engineer based in Sydney with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Software Engineering, offering structured and professional online programming tutoring. I have several years of experience working with programming languages including Python and C, as well as web and game development technologies. My background combines strong theoretical computer science foundations with practical industry experience, allowing me to teach not only how to write code, but how to design, debug, and think systematically.
I take a professional and disciplined approach to tutoring. Each lesson is prepared in advance, tailored to the student’s goals, and focused on measurable progress. I emphasize clear explanations, clean coding practices, and long-term skill development rather than quick fixes. I offer online programming tutoring for high school and early university students, focusing on Python, C, web development, and game development. My approach is practical and project-driven: students learn by building real programs rather than passively following tutorials. I emphasize strong fundamentals such as problem decomposition, debugging strategies, clean code structure, and understanding how things work under the hood. In Python, this may involve scripting, automation, or core computer science concepts; in C, we focus on memory, pointers, and low-level thinking; in web development, we build structured, responsive projects; and in game development, we design small but complete playable systems. Each lesson is interactive and hands-on, with students writing and explaining their own code while I guide and correct in real time.
Sessions typically run for 60–90 minutes and are tailored to the student’s level, from complete beginners to those preparing for university-level computer science. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Software Engineering and work professionally as a software engineer, bringing real-world development standards and practices into my teaching. My lessons are suited to high school students, IB or HSC students studying software or computer science, and beginners who want to build strong foundations without developing bad habits. The goal is not just to learn syntax, but to think like a programmer and build independent problem-solving ability.
