About Isabelle
Until recently I was a deputy head of sixth form in a Cambridge comprehensive. Following my doctorate I decided to go into teaching and have eight years 11-18 teaching experience in the UK. I have taught the following exam courses: A level Sociology, GCSE Sociology, A level Government and Politics, A level Philosophy and Ethics, GCSE RE. This summer I will be working for AQA as an examiner.
While giving one on one support to my own students, my recent tutoring experience was working over 4 months with an A level student wanting a B. He got an A and got his dream place at Nottingham University. I work from where the student is, assessing what they need and building the best approach that suits you. As a trained teacher I am fully aware of different learning styles. I would look at how much time you have and build a manageable plan as to how we can best reach your goals.

Perfect! Excellent tutor
Isabelle has helped my daughter grow in confidence and in knowledge with her positive upbeat approach and her thorough knowledge of the subject. Isabelle is a friendly and effective tutor who helped me in achieving better essay writing skills and more understanding on my topic. She is very punctual and organised with her timings and also helps out with reading practise essays in her own time in addition to the tutoring. I feel I have benefited a lot in my studies and she is a very lovely tutor to work with.
Isabelle tutored me for my A Level Sociology course and was very helpful and approachable when doing so. She is very good at explaining concepts and made sure that I understood the ideas explored within the course and was more than happy to explain further when we came across something I found difficult. I highly recommend Isabelle as a tutor and I feel much more confident going in to future exams.
Isabelle was dedicated to helping me reach my full potential, she was particularly good at explaining theories and concepts to ensure I understood fully. If I didn't understand something, she would use examples which were relevant to me. This really helped me remember and enjoy learning with her.
