I make sure that my students are able to relate what they read in books to practical life. This is the essence of learning social sciences. Relating the academic text to the real world enhances the critical and analytical abilities of students. My students will not only be able to explain the rise and fall of a kingdom in history but in addition, they will be able to trace the traits of that particular kingdom of past to any present country if applicable. They will not only be able to identify the features of democracy as a concept of political science but also the loopholes and use of propaganda promotion practiced in different democracies across the world.
