About Matt
I’m a husband, father of three, with a passion for things creative. I love learning as well as passing on my skills. I volunteer as a scout leader to provide fun mentoring to young people, and also work with a local university providing mentoring to design students both in terms of design direction but also helping to develop soft skills such as presenting and client liaison.

I like to work with students to work towards their goals in a friendly, supportive and considered way, working at their pace. Sessions can be structured or be more freeform to explore a topic in an organic way. I’ve over 20 years as a designer/art director and have mentored many colleagues professionally. I love to pass on not only key skills but workflows to make life easier. I’m happy tutoring all ages and abilities. I’m open to different sessions ranging from an hour to half days.

Matt spent a day teaching me the finer points of InDesign and general graphic design principles around layout etc. I had basic skills but was missing some really simple things that made life so much easier. I learned loads and have improved my graphic design skills exponentially. I'm an interior design student and the course expects presentation to be slick. I'm finally feeling a bit pro. Worth every penny!
