About Naomi
I have recently taken redundancy from a senior accounting role where I lead a team of 11, developed people and trained non-financial colleagues on finance concepts. I also started a scheme to provide work experience for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Many of these students subsequently entered university and some are now starting accounting careers. I also coach and mentor my trainee accountant colleagues.
I am also almost completing a teacher training level 3 qualification and also training to teach English as a foreign language.
I am also a Trustee of a Multi Academy Trust where I chair the finance committee. I am therefore familiar with school finances.
My areas of strength in accounting are:- FRS102, IFRS, basic accounting concepts, book keeping etc.
