About Nicole

Hello Primary School Students! My name is Nicole and I’m so excited to meet all of you! I’m here to help you with your schoolwork and make learning fun. I know that sometimes school can feel a little tricky, but that’s okay! Everyone learns at their own pace, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. Whether it’s reading, writing, or math, I want you to feel confident and happy about what you’re learning. We can work together to find ways to make learning easier and more enjoyable.

High School Students, My name is Nicole. I have a strong passion for psychology and neurodiversity, and I’ve dedicated a lot of time to researching and learning how to support neurodivergent learners in academic settings—myself included! I understand the unique challenges and strengths that come with different learning styles, and I'm here to provide strategies that can help you thrive. High school can bring a lot of pressure, and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed sometimes. I want to support you in developing strategies for setting goals, breaking down big tasks into smaller steps, and managing stress. If you’ve ever struggled with juggling homework, extracurricular activities, or studying for exams, I want to help you find ways to make it all feel more manageable. Together, we’ll tackle any obstacles that come your way and work towards achieving your personal and academic goals. Let’s make this high school journey a positive and successful experience together!

I'm from the UK but I do travel and stay abroad at different times in the year. That is why most of my sessions are advertised as online.

About the lesson

As an educator, my teaching style blends structured guidance with creative facilitation, grounded in evidence-based practices and adapted to meet diverse student needs. I emphasize differentiation by tailoring instruction to accommodate various learning styles, using multisensory techniques to support students with specific challenges like dyslexia or ADHD. My classroom fosters student-centered learning, where inquiry and critical thinking are encouraged, and students take ownership of their learning. I provide clear, scaffolded instruction, breaking complex concepts into manageable parts while integrating technology and hands-on activities to enhance engagement. Social-emotional learning is a key focus, creating an empathetic environment where students feel safe to take risks and grow. My qualifications include a PGCE, Autism Training, extensive experience in literacy and special education, particularly with Reading Mastery, Phonics, Word Structures Inquiry and Orton-Gillingham methods, and a strong background in creative content development, ensuring that lessons are engaging and tailored to meet specific objectives. My goal is to create a learning space that is both academically rigorous and emotionally supportive, where every student can succeed.
