I am a highly experienced secondary school Maths teacher with over 8 years of teaching SQA National 5 Maths, N5 Applications of Maths, Higher Maths, GCSE and A-Level students. I provide engaging, structured Maths lessons for SQA National 5 Maths, N5 Applications of Maths, Higher Maths, GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14–18). My approach focuses on building confidence, deepening understanding, and achieving excellent exam results. I use a mix of techniques and teaching methodologies, including: Breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps Guided problem-solving with practical examples Exam-style question practice and step-by-step feedback Encouraging independent thinking and self-correction through structured exercises Each lesson is typically 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and goals. I tailor every session to the student’s level and learning style, ensuring lessons are interactive, supportive, and focused on measurable progress. I am an experienced secondary school teacher with over 8 years of teaching Maths, specialising in GCSE and A-Level exam preparation. I have successfully helped students improve their grades and build confidence in their abilities.
