About Scott
I’m offering one-on-one tutoring for students who want clear explanations and patient, personalized support. My focus is on neuroscience, psychology, biology, research methods, and academic writing, and I love helping people make sense of material that feels overwhelming at first. I can help you break down complex concepts, prepare for exams, plan and edit essays, and build study strategies that actually work. As a neuroscience student with experience in science communication, I’m comfortable explaining things in a way that feels intuitive and engaging. Sessions are online and flexible around your schedule. If you’re interested or want to know more, feel free to reach out and we can see if it’s a good fit.

My method of teaching is to first understand what the student aims to get out of the session- what do you need to know? From there, we can work together to fill gaps in your knowledge, and create a guide for you to follow so you can keep learning even after the session.

Perfect! Scott was knowledgeable and made my daughter feel confident in understanding the topic. She found him nice to work with and coming from a teen, it means a lot.
- Good at listening, but should come to the meeting with the curriculae/content that they would like to be learning.Scott's response :

Scott is patient, engaging, and dedicated to helping students not only understand difficult material but also build confidence in their abilities.
Scott does a great job of listening to his students and relating the material to real life- which makes it much easier to remember. He's also very polite and kind, I highly recommend him!
