About Penny
I’m an experienced senior leader and History specialist with over 10 years’ experience in education. I have a First Class degree in History and have taught students across a wide range of abilities and age groups, achieving excellent results.
Throughout my career, I’ve led History and Humanities departments as well as working in senior leadership, giving me a strong understanding of both academic achievement and the wider needs of young people.
I’m passionate about making learning engaging, accessible and enjoyable. I build positive relationships with students and take the time to understand how each individual learns best. Whether a student needs to build confidence, catch up, stretch their knowledge or prepare for important exams, I aim to make them feel capable and successful
