About Victoria
Hello! I'm a passionate language lover, traveller, and experienced Russian teacher. Over the years, I've lived in Canada, France, Russia, Germany, and Slovakia, and along the way, I've learned English, French, German, Russian, and I'm currently learning Spanish and Slovak. Being a polyglot, I deeply understand the challenges and joys of learning a new language — and I use this experience to support and guide my students with empathy and effective strategies. The more I travel and the more languages I learn, the more I’ve come to appreciate the beauty of my native language — Russian — and its rich culture and history. Teaching Russian allows me to share not just grammar and vocabulary, but also the soul of a language shaped by centuries of literature, music, traditions, and everyday life.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills, I tailor each lesson to your personal goals and interests. My teaching style is: Communicative – focused on real conversation and useful vocabulary. Cultural – we dive into music, film, literature, and everyday Russian life. Supportive – I create a friendly and encouraging space to help you build confidence. Multilingual-friendly – as a polyglot myself, I can help you make connections between Russian and other languages you may know.
