About Jessica
I am a registered nurse with over 22 years of nursing experience and a strong background in leadership and education. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse healthcare settings, gaining a deep understanding of patient care, clinical decision-making, and professional standards. In addition to my clinical experience, I currently manage a home health agency, where I oversee patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor nurses in their professional development. This role requires a high level of accountability, organization, and up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice- skills I bring directly into my NCLEX tutoring.

My tutoring approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and encouragement. I understand that everyone learns differently and new graduate nurses may feel overwhelmed or anxious while preparing for the NCLEX. My goal is to create a supportive, judgement-free environment where questions are always welcome and progress happens at your pace. Understanding is more important than rushing.
Each student will receive a customized lesson plan based on their individual needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. I will help to focus on: identifying weak content areas, strengthening clinical judgement and critical thinking, practicing NCLEX style questions with clear rationales, and developing effective test-taking strategies. Lesson plans are flexible and will evolve as you improve, ensuring our time together is focused, efficient, and aligned with your goals.
