About Brittany
I am a passionate and dedicated educator with over 7 years of experience in supporting middle school students, particularly those who require specialized attention due to learning disabilities or language barriers. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where every student feels empowered to succeed.
With a focus on personalized learning, I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and unique needs. I bring my expertise in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and Reading Intervention to help students build critical skills in reading, writing, and self-management. My lessons are designed to inspire curiosity, encourage self-expression, and foster a deeper understanding of the material in a meaningful, culturally relevant context.
My approach is rooted in patience, creativity, and adaptability, ensuring that students not only grasp the concepts but also develop the confidence and independence they need to thrive academically and personally.
