About Alice
Before teacher training, I was a SEN learning assistant in a British state secondary school. ️
I became a class teacher of English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) in private language centres; abroad and at summer schools in the U.K. ️
️ Now I’m a freelance tutor to individual students. I not only focus on helping a student improve scores and jump up grade boundaries. I aim to lift up a student's confidence in themselves to unlock the skills they already have - and get that onto the page.
It’s important to me to continue to stay informed on evidence-based research. Along with studying Psychology, I'm also doing professional development courses in SEN, Social Care, Early Years, and, Counselling.

I utilise online revision resources from reputable sources (BBC Bitesize, CGP, English File, British Council, BBC LearnEnglish sites), past papers from exam board sites, materials I’ve bought (TES and Twinkle resources), and tried and tested ones created myself.
