I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals while developing a strong understanding of the subjects I tutor. 25 years' experience as a classroom teacher, Head of Department and AQA examiner has given me insight into how to approach teaching and learning for a range of students. Throughout my career I have helped students achieve high grades through clear explanations, effective exam strategies and lessons adapted to individual needs
My style is friendly, supportive and tailored to each student. By building rapport and creating a positive learning environment, I help students feel confident asking questions and exploring ideas. I focus on making complex concepts clear, engaging and accessible. Seeing students grow in confidence and succeed academically is the most rewarding aspect of my work
