I've known Eric Mintz for several years as a colleague at the Canadian Institute for Health Information. During that time, I attended several of his presentations. His presentations are very clear and the statistical concepts and data are very easy to understand due to his solid understanding of the subject and ability to simplify it to a less knowledgeable audience. While I no longer work with Eric, I often consult him on statistical questions and issues that I encounter for various projects and find him to be extremely helpful in clarifying what seem to be complex concepts.
