Perfect! Zak is the real deal when it comes to music production. I've worked with Zak for the last 8 months and my music has improved beyond what I thought possible. Before I started working with Zak I thought I could learn everything by myself on YouTube etc., but having a producer like Zak is a total game changer. Wish I'd made the leap years ago.
Zak treats your tracks with a very high level of detail and adds an exceptional amount of creativity and originality to the music production process. He also teaches you how to experiment and create on your own.
Zak can also dive in at any point and make my tracks better. Sometimes we start from scratch, advance one of my half-baked song ideas, or create custom drum loops. He's also knows a ton about how to mix, master and release a finished track into the world.
Zak has a "just do it" mindset when it comes to music production. Zak encouraged me to start adding my own vocals, live guitar and live bass on my tracks, which I never contemplated before we started working together.

I'm going to tell you the truth - as I've come to know it - about Zak.

An exemplary producer and teacher whomst ( - not an actual word - ) sets the bar in which other instructors and music producers strive to fall under. This became clear to me after our first in-person session. The following six sessions after that, only served to reinforce this fact.

Right from the jump, Zak made a positive impression on me when he responded to my very first message here on Superprof, asking me genuine questions about my goals, my experience as an aspiring producer, my background (if any) with live instruments, and if there was any particular concept of music production I was struggling with or would like to ask him any questions about. Throughout the conversation he also shared with me some past experiences of his, as I consider him to be, a veteran of the industry. It was honestly the coolest thing to be having a conversation with someone who also possesses a profound passion for music. This interaction in its entirety, proved to me that Zak was willing to go well beyond the extra mile by investing his time towards getting to know me as a student - it also proved something else, something even more significant than that.

This was proof that on a more fundamental level, he actually cared about the things that I consider to be of great importance in my life, and that as my tutor, he was committed towards helping me achieve my life-long goal of becoming a great producer.
