About Rebecca
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Law and Commerce (Finance and Actuarial Financial Mathematics) at Curtin University.
I have worked with students across a range of years and abilities for several years. My approach is structured, patient, and results-focused while still centering on building confidence and genuine understanding of a topic. I believe that when students enjoy a subject and feel capable in it, academic improvement naturally follows.
My main focus is on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and tailoring explanations to suit a student's learning style and rectifying past study habits.
Whether it’s strengthening foundational skills, preparing for assessments, or aiming for top results, I work to ensure students not only improve their grades but also develop long-term confidence and independence in their learning.

I have been working as a private tutor alongside my degree in law and commerce (majoring in finance and actuarial financial mathematics). I have taught over 100 students privately and in classes.
Access to a variety of resources will help students gain a holistic understanding of mathematics in an enjoyable yet thorough way. Homework and study plans are given to students to teach them how to learn and to cultivate good study habits.
A lesson usually runs just over an hour and is tailored to the student's method of learning; this involves discussion of student's past learning experiences and teaching them how to actually study. I focus on keeping students exam and test ready meaning that students are constantly exposed to a variety of test questions from different resources, textbooks and tests.
