Tim is one of our best tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Tim

I completed groundschool in 2017, and have since gone on to fly for a major UK based airline. I gained my instructor experience whilst waiting for my airline job at one of the main UK ATOs, teaching Principles of Flight and Radio Navigation. Empathy and respect are important core values for me; there is no such thing as a stupid question!

About the lesson

I became a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor after thoroughly enjoying my time in groundschool. Whether you are studying as part of an integrated course or you’re on the modular route, I can help iron out those trickier areas to enhance your studies.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Tim.

Perfect! Apart from agreeing with the other reviews about Tim’s skill in tutoring his subjects and professionalism, he was such a friendly and approachable personality that it put me at ease straight away. He was flexible and reliable with lesson planning and I knew he wouldn’t let me down before my exam. I genuinely enjoyed learning with Tim and passed my exam with strong grades. If you feel apprehensive or bogged down with your subject Tim will give you the confidence to succeed.

Tim always has a great way of explaining something. If you're not getting a subject, he'll always try and explain it slowly and carefully. A really nice change from all those instructors who try and beat you over the head with the subject rather than try and teach you properly!
