About Kiran
Hi, I’m Kiran! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic fully registered Primary Teacher with experience teaching in Scotland and in a British school in the UAE.
I’m passionate about helping children feel confident in their learning and creating lessons that are engaging, supportive and enjoyable. I understand that every child learns differently, so I take the time to get to know each student and adapt my teaching to suit their individual needs.
I have experience teaching across the primary stages and supporting children with literacy, numeracy, reading, writing and general schoolwork. I aim to make tutoring a positive experience where children feel comfortable, motivated and proud of their progress.

My tutoring approach is friendly, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I focus on making lessons enjoyable while helping children build confidence, improve their understanding and develop independent learning skills.
I use a range of activities, questioning, discussion and practical tasks to keep children engaged and ensure they understand the topic before moving on. I also adapt lessons to suit different abilities and learning styles.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are suitable for primary-aged children from P1–P7. I can provide support with literacy, numeracy, reading, writing, homework and general primary school learning.
I am a fully registered GTCS Primary Teacher with teaching experience in Scotland and two years’ experience working in a British school in the UAE. I have taught children across different primary stages and have experience supporting children with a range of learning needs and abilities.
