About Nira
With 6 years of teaching experience and a BA in Musicology specializing in Piano History, I guide students in jazz piano mastery. I have worked with Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate students and professional jazz musicians. Students develop fluent improvisation skills and chordal accompaniment. I help students compose original piano music through structured and creative lessons. Lessons include melody and harmony writing, intros, outros, and musical themes. I focus on nurturing creativity while teaching compositional techniques. I work with The Therapy Seeker and The Jazz Pianist to develop expressive, unique music. Students explore motifs, chord progressions, and rhythmic patterns. Each session encourages improvisation and experimentation. I provide feedback on phrasing, harmony, and overall structure. Lessons teach students to craft full, polished compositions. We study professional music to inspire creativity and technique. I emphasize clarity, expression, and coherence.
