About Molly
As a pianist and educator, my journey is defined by a profound love for music and a commitment to nurturing the talents of aspiring pianists. With three years of experience as a piano instructor, I bring a blend of technical expertise and a passion for musical expression to every lesson.
My own musical path began with classical training, where I developed a strong foundation in technique and interpretation. Over time, my exploration expanded to include jazz, captivated by its improvisational freedom and rhythmic complexity. This dual background informs my teaching style, allowing me to offer a diverse and comprehensive approach to piano education.
In my role as an educator, I prioritize creating a supportive and enriching learning environment. I tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs and goals of each student, whether they are beginners discovering the joy of playing piano or advanced learners refining their skills. I believe in fostering creativity and musicality alongside technical proficiency, encouraging students to explore different genres and develop their unique musical voice.
Beyond teaching, I am dedicated to continuous learning and growth as a musician. I actively participate in performances, workshops, and collaborations with fellow musicians, which enhances my teaching and allows me to share real-world experiences with my students.
Ultimately, my goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for music in my students and to empower them to achieve their musical aspirations. I find immense joy in witnessing their progress and celebrating their accomplishments as they develop confidence and proficiency in playing the piano. Through patience, encouragement, and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of music, I strive to make a positive impact on each student's musical journey.

We delve into classical repertoire to build a solid foundation in technique and interpretation, while exploring jazz standards to develop improvisational skills and rhythmic fluency.
I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and expressing themselves through music. I use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, guided practice, and interactive activities to ensure comprehension and engagement.
