About Daniel
I'm a current PhD student in philosophy studying at Oxford University.
I have experience teaching English as a foreign language and also tutoring students in philosphy. This has been at both A Level and degree level.
I absolute love generating interesting and engaging conversations to guide my lessons. I think students get the most out of lessons when they have to think for themselves and are completely invested in getting to the bottom of a problem
In my lessons I create a comfortable environment where I get the maximum paricipation out of the student. I am thorough and thought provoking and push students to think for themselves. From the Socratic dialogues to now, I think philosophy is best done within a conversational setting. I make sure my lessons involve input from both teacher and student.
I am comfortable tutoring for all levels of philosophy and am really excited to take on new students!
