About Jack
I am a professional composer working across concert, film and television, and a First Class Honours graduate of the Royal College of Music. My work includes regular collaborations with publishers Matonizz and Fennell Production, production music for UK and US television, and orchestration on major media projects such as the ITV drama Grace.
Alongside my professional practice, I have several years’ experience supporting students across a wide range of levels, including GCSE and A-Level music students, ABRSM theory candidates, developing composers and adult learners. Students have achieved strong examination results and progressed to study music at leading universities and conservatoires.
My background combines conservatoire training with ongoing professional work, bringing practical musical experience and clear musical foundations into every lesson.

My teaching focuses on demystifying music and developing clear technical understanding through practical application. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and structured to build strong musical foundations, whether supporting academic study, creative work, or overall musical development.
Sessions are offered in a variety of lengths, though 45 minutes and above is recommended to allow time to develop technique, explore musical ideas and apply them creatively. I have worked with a wide range of students, including GCSE and A-Level music students, ABRSM theory candidates, developing composers and adult learners. Students have achieved excellent examination results and progressed to study music at leading universities and conservatoires.
Alongside teaching, I work professionally as a composer across concert, film and television, bringing current industry experience into my lessons.
