About Macy
Hello! My name is Macy, and I am a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping students grow academically and creatively. With a degree in Vocal Performance and years of experience as an elementary music teacher, theater director, and tutor, I bring a well-rounded and engaging approach to education. I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to fit individual needs. My teaching method combines patience, creativity, and structured learning, ensuring that students not only grasp concepts but also gain confidence in their abilities. Whether we’re working on reading, math, music, or theater, I strive to make learning fun, interactive, and meaningful. A Typical Lesson Plan Each lesson is customized based on the student’s goals and learning style, but a typical session includes: Warm-Up & Review – A quick recap of previous material to reinforce learning. Core Lesson – Interactive instruction using visuals, hands-on activities, and practice exercises. Application & Practice – Real-world examples, games, or creative activities to solidify understanding. Wrap-Up & Reflection – A short review and discussion of key takeaways, with optional homework or practice exercises. What Sets Me Apart Diverse Experience: As an elementary music teacher, theater director, and tutor, I bring a creative and well-rounded approach to teaching. Engaging Methods: I incorporate storytelling, music, and movement into lessons to make learning enjoyable and effective.
