About South Dade Music Academy
Hi! I’m Joshua, a passionate guitarist and experienced music educator, dedicated to helping students of all ages and skill levels unlock their musical potential. With 19 years of playing and teaching experience, I specialize in creating personalized lessons that cater to each student’s unique goals and interests. I have a bachelor's in instrumental performance from Florida International University and a master's in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University.

Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate player, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My lessons cover many styles, and I focus on building a strong technical foundation while keeping the learning process fun and inspiring. I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano in person or online.
I have a music academy called South Dade Music Academy in the Florida City/Homestead area where you can come and join us for in person lessons.
Group lessons online or in-person are offered for a much cheaper price.
If you are a local; performance opportunities to showcase your new skills will be made available to you via my music academy. Contact me for more info! Can't wait to meet you!
