About Annie

I am a semi-retired teacher, relieving in schools in Christchurch. I taught English as a second language to students aged 6-18 in South Africa for 27 years, before moving to New Zealand. Here I taught English for Year 9-10 students, obtained a permanent position in a Primary School and have taught in all levels at a Primary level till I started relieving. That's when I worked at SIT International School of Languages, teaching IELTS to international students. I speak 4 languages fluently which has always helped me bridge barriers in students of other languages. I relieve in classes up to year 10 at present.

About the lesson

*Initial session at reduced cost to assess needs
*Online face-to-face sessions
*No more than 3 students in one session
*Time of lessons depend on age and needs of students e.g.Year 1-3 maximum 30 minutes, twice a week (can be more if parents want it), older students and adults 1 hour, as many times as needed per week.
*40 Years of teaching abroad and in New Zealand. Experience with students Year 1- 13.
*IELTS teaching for adults at SIT
