About Imman
With years of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, I offer professional and engaging bass and drum lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Having played in various bands, recorded as a session musician, and performed at all kinds of events, I bring real-world musical expertise to my teaching. My lessons focus on developing solid technique, musicality, and confidence, whether you're a beginner or an advanced player. I ensure a structured yet enjoyable learning experience, combining practical exercises, music theory, and play-along sessions to help students grow. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential, whether they want to play for fun, perform live, or pursue a professional music career. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can thrive and develop their skills at their own pace. Lessons are available online or in-person in London, and I welcome students of all ages and levels.

As an experienced multi-instrumentalist, my approach to tutoring is tailored to each student’s goals and skill level. I focus on building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and musicality while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. My teaching methodology includes: - Personalised Lessons: I adapt each session to the student's learning pace and musical interests. - Practical & Theoretical Balance: I incorporate essential music theory to enhance understanding but keep lessons hands-on with exercises and real song applications. - Play-Along & Improvisation: I encourage students to play along with tracks, develop their ears, and experiment with improvisation. - Performance Readiness: Whether for personal growth, live performances, or studio recording, I help students gain confidence in their playing. Lesson Structure: - Typical Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour - Location: Online or in-person in London - For: Beginners to advanced players, all ages Experience & Qualifications: - Years of Experience: Playing in bands, recording as a session musician, and performing at various events - Instruments: Bass and drums (primary), with experience in multiple other instruments - Background: Lifelong musician with a degree in IT, blending technical precision with musical creativity My lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from complete beginners looking to start their musical journey to advanced players aiming to refine their skills.
