Everyone has a different learning style. Some people learn best by listening, some by watching and some by doing. I believe in an "I do, We do, You do" approach to ensure solid understanding of the material. I was a student who struggled with math. I could follow the notes and figure out the answer, but didn't understand why it worked. I love helping students to understand the material, not just do it.
