About Jordan
Hello! My name is Jordan, and I am an experienced middle school math teacher with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I have several years of classroom experience teaching a wide range of learners, and I understand that every student has unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
I provide tutoring for students in first through eighth grade, offering support in everything from foundational math skills to more advanced middle school concepts. Whether your child needs help with homework, test preparation, or simply wants to strengthen their understanding, I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
As a full-time teacher, I bring patience, organization, and proven instructional strategies to every lesson. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for learning.

As an experienced math teacher, my goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a positive relationship with learning. I believe every child can succeed when lessons are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to their individual needs.
My teaching approach combines direct instruction, hands-on activities, visual models, and guided practice. I adapt each lesson to fit the student's learning style and use real-world examples to make concepts easier to understand. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous skills and an assessment of the student's understanding. From there, I introduce new concepts through examples and interactive activities before working through practice problems together. I finish each session by reinforcing key ideas and providing strategies students can use independently.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my classroom experience teaching mathematics and my ability to connect with students at different levels. I understand that younger learners need patience, encouragement, and creativity, while older students often benefit from deeper explanations and problem-solving strategies. My goal is not only to improve grades and test scores but also to help students become confident, independent learners.
I offer tutoring for students from first grade through eighth grade, including elementary math, middle school math, homework help, test preparation, and enrichment.
