About Annik
I was born and raised in Norway, but have been living in Australia for 8 years.
I have a Bachelor degree in Special Education, a Master degree in Inclusive and Special Education, as well as a Bachelor in Youth Work and Youth Studies.
I have been an educator for many years, which includes teaching Norwegian to students of all ages for 7 years.
In regards to accents, I am from Oslo so I teach the Østlandsk accent and Bokmål written language. If you are looking to move to Norway or you have family or friends who are Norwegian, these lessons will be perfect for you.

I aim to provide inclusive lessons that are structured and accommodated to your specific needs and level. Such needs might include learning the language for casual conversational purposes, business purposes, or even wanting to be able to perform music in the Norwegian language. I make sure to take in to account the student's preferred methods of learning when planning out each lesson. It is important to me that the lessons are structured collaboratively between me and the student, when the student so desires, in order to provide a course that is as successful as possible.

Perfect! Annik er helt fantastisk! She really took the time to tailor the lesson to my ability and goals and supplemented the lesson with some useful resources. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a tutor!
Perfect! Annik's methodology is excellent. Makes learning Norwegian very simple. And you get to choose what you want to learn and at your pace. I'm really bad with languages and yet I manage to pick up the basics up quite quickly. That just shows how effective her teaching is. She's very enthusiastic and makes learning Norwegian fun. Perfect! Annik is a wonderful tutor who is an amazing teacher at Norwegian. She is great at teaching and helping you understand the language!
Perfect! I decided to take up Norwegian during lockdown 2020/2021 after becoming interested in the language on holiday in Norway. I chose Annik as she is a native speaker and also has a background in education. So far we have had 7 lessons together and they have become one of the highlights of my week. Annik has a lot of patience when it comes to beginners, and proceeds at the perfect pace for me. Our sessions have a fun and chilled out atmosphere which really helps with knowledge intake.
Personally, I work as a 1-on-1 tutor for schools. As such, I feel I can thoroughly recommend Annik and her teaching methodology.Perfect! Great lesson!
