About Priya
My name is Priya, and I am currently a fourth-year medical student with a passion for both learning and helping others achieve their academic goals. Throughout my own education, I have always enjoyed supporting friends and peers with their studies, which naturally led me to tutoring over five years ago. Having progressed through GCSEs, A-Levels, university entrance processes, and now medical school, I understand the challenges and pressures that students can face at different stages of their education.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build confidence and realise their potential. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take a personalised approach to teaching, working at each student’s pace and taking the time to understand how they learn best. By identifying what methods, resources, and explanations work most effectively for each individual, I can tailor lessons to maximise both understanding and engagement.
I find it incredibly rewarding to see students overcome difficulties, develop confidence in their abilities, and achieve goals they once found daunting. Beyond improving grades, I aim to help students develop strong study habits, resilience, and the self-belief needed for long-term academic success.

A dedicated and enthusiastic fourth-year medical student with over five years of tutoring experience, both in-person and online. I believe that every student can succeed when provided with the right support, guidance, and learning approach.
My tutoring style focuses on building confidence, strengthening subject knowledge, and developing effective study habits that students can apply independently throughout their academic journey. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, identifying areas for improvement and adapting my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and goals. Whether preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, entrance exams, or university assessments, I break down complex concepts into manageable steps and provide clear, structured explanations that promote genuine understanding rather than memorisation.
Alongside helping students improve their grades, I aim to foster resilience, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning. As a fourth-year medical student who has consistently achieved academic excellence at university, I understand the dedication, organisation, and effective revision strategies required to succeed in demanding academic environments, and I enjoy sharing these skills with my students.
I am also able to provide guidance and mentoring for students interested in pursuing competitive university courses, including Medicine, offering insight into effective study techniques, academic preparation, and the transition to higher education.
