About Elika
Navigating the competitive admissions process can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. My name is Elika, and throughout my own academic and professional journey, including earning my undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California and navigating rigorous medical school admissions, I have learned firsthand what it takes to stand out on paper.
I'm deeply passionate about mentoring students and helping them translate their unique life experiences, challenges, and aspirations into compelling, unforgettable narratives. I believe that every student has a powerful story to tell; the key is learning how to structure it so that admissions committees see your true potential beyond just numbers on a transcript.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Check-In: We review your current draft, brainstormed notes, or prompt requirements, celebrating progress and identifying current roadblocks.
Deep-Dive & Structural Review: We analyze the overarching flow, pacing, and narrative hook. We look closely at whether your unique experiences and perspective are translating clearly to the reader.
Line-by-Line Refinement & Action Plan: We tackle sentence-level phrasing, word choice, and transitions. You leave every session with clear, actionable editing steps and writing homework for our next meeting.
