About Ahmed
I know the struggles of a high school student where a lot of information is given in a very little time. I have learnt how to tackle mathematics in a very unconventional way. I am very dedicated to my students as I have been in the position where I didn't understand the concept. I'm a mechanical engineer with over 4 years of tutoring experience in math and physics. My goal is to make complex topics easier to understand by connecting theory with real-life applications. I'm here to help you build confidence and achieve your goals, and perhaps surpass them.

As a tutor, I focus on understanding each student's unique learning style and pace. I tailor my lessons to make complex concepts more digestible, often using real-world examples from mechanical engineering and physics to make abstract theories relatable. My teaching emphasizes problem-solving, conceptual clarity, and critical thinking, ensuring that students not only learn but also apply their knowledge effectively.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Introduction (about 3 - 5 minutes): Brief review of the previous lesson and any questions the student has.
Core Content (35-40 minutes): Explanation of new concepts using diagrams, practical examples, and step-by-step walkthroughs of problems.
Practice (10-15 minutes): The student works through problems or questions with my guidance, fostering independent thinking.
Wrap-up (5-10 minutes): A summary of key takeaways, with homework or additional exercises for further practice and questions about the day's lesson.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
I have a different way of teaching students which really tests their knowledge. I do this by giving examples not in the homework or in the textbook, also by testing them at the end of the lesson, to see how much information they have retained so far. With over 4 years of experience tutoring both high school and university students in math and physics, my engineering background allows me to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications. I am patient, adaptable, and committed to ensuring my students succeed by offering clear explanations and continuous support outside lesson hours if needed.
