About Vanya
I am a passionate Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and an MPhil in Mathematics. My teaching philosophy centers around a holistic approach that goes beyond formulas and numbers. I understand that many learners face math anxiety or feel overwhelmed by the subject. My goal is to reduce this anxiety and help students build lasting confidence in their abilities. I use growth mindset techniques to encourage a positive attitude toward learning. Every student is unique, so I personalize the pace of lessons to fit individual needs. Besides regular Maths, I also teach subjects related to mental agility, such as quick numerical tricks and estimation, which help improve speed and confidence. I am experienced in supporting students preparing for Engineer-in-Training exams and those interested in data-related fields.
Consistent feedback is a key part of my method. I carefully track progress and provide advice to help students master quick numerical challenges. This ongoing support ensures they keep improving and feel motivated.
