About Edward
Hello! I’m a recent graduate from The University of Bristol with a First Class Honours Degree in Mathematics now working in asset management. I have really enjoyed tutoring a range of clients over the last three years; from pre-GCSE to University Level.

I am a very understanding and patient person. I always like to take the time to make sure the person that I’m teaching has fully understood me every step of the problem whilst making the lesson fun and engaging.
Whether your issue in maths is; "slight slip ups", "exam preparation" or "content teaching" I can tailor a lesson to fit your exact needs.
I check my emails and messages on this site regularly. I'm very flexible, so I'm happy for you to suggest a lesson time outside of the allotted times on the website!

I have also worked for an educational charity where I helped to set up the home tutoring side of the charity. I was responsible for hiring and training new tutors and regularly reviewing every student-tutor relationship with the parents.

Perfect! Professional and Helpful
Ed helped with lessons in Mechanics, Pure Maths and Stats for first year Maths A-level. He was very helpful in explaining why as well as how things were done. He has a friendly and encouraging manner and the lessons were very useful for pre-mock test revision. Many thanks.

Ed tutored my daughter through her GCSE's, always prompt and fully engaging. He helped my daughter gain confidence and always created a relaxing and engaging environment. I would most certainly recommend Ed as a fully capable and wonderful tutor.
Edward taught maths to both my daughters, who, although capable, had been put off maths by previous poor/judgmental teaching. Both girls lacked confidence in the subject and "hated maths". From the first lesson, Edward brought a positive approach and won the girls over, making them feel it was within their reach and fascinating rather than scary.
Ed is a fantastic tutor. He puts real effort into his tutoring -
both during the sessions, but also outside of the sessions in preparation or reviewing work. He is committed and diligent.Ed has been a Godsend for my son - His enthusiasm and passion for Mathematics rubbed-off on my son and they really gelled. Edward is an extremely kind, caring and conscientious tutor. He has attended regularly and has been particularly good at teaching Maths. He is kind and patient with the children but able and willing to be firm with them if necessary.
