About Laksha
Hi, I’m Laksha, a dedicated and friendly math tutor with experience teaching Year 9 and Year 10 students. I’m passionate about helping learners feel confident in math by breaking complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps. I take pride in creating a positive and supportive learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how real learning happens. My tutoring approach focuses on understanding the “why” behind math problems, not just memorizing formulas. Each session usually lasts about 1 hour, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning needs — whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, or boosting their confidence in class. I have experience teaching Year 9 and Year 10 students and enjoy helping them strengthen their foundation in math topics like algebra, geometry, and problem-solving. My goal is to make math less stressful and more enjoyable by helping students see patterns, build logic, and feel proud of their progress. My lessons are perfect for secondary school students (Years 9–10) who want clear explanations, patience, and consistent support to improve their math skills.
