About Gnane
I believe that knowing maths will not only pave the way for higher education or skilled employment but it is an essential skill to have in life. Learning how to apply maths in real life situations is key to understand why you need to learn it and how you can remember it. Of course you need to get good grades by practicing as much as you can, however, understanding basics at every stage would make maths so much fun to learn and practice.
I have both an undergraduate and masters degree in the built environment. In my time as an architect, I specialised in construction and structure and used maths daily.

I am a maths tutor with over 25 years of experience tutoring students to achieve the best grades and excel in mathematics. I am now retired from a career in architecture and give maths tuition full time.
I give tuition in the following key stages/levels:
Primary - Key Stage 1 & 2
Lower Secondary Key Stage 3
G.C.S.E.- all exam boards
My lesson plans are both challenging and fun and for each student, I create individual plans and monitor progress closely.
