About Sevi
Hello! I am a Math tutor with an MSc and over 4 years of experience helping more than 200 students at GCSE, A-Level, and university level. I cover the full Mathematics curriculum including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, Matrices, Statistics, Probability, Mechanics, and university Pure Mathematics. I am experienced with all major exam boards and tailor every lesson to the individual student's specific course and needs. I am patient, clear, and genuinely committed to helping every student I work with achieve both the grade improvements and the mindset shift that will serve them long beyond their next exam.

I teach Maths using a diagnostic-first, understanding-led approach. I begin every new student relationship by identifying specific gaps and misconceptions, then build a personalised plan to address those gaps systematically from foundations upward. For every topic I follow a three-stage cycle: clear concept explanation, narrated worked examples, and guided independent practice with targeted feedback. I emphasise genuine understanding over rote memorisation at every stage, building mathematical foundations that allow students to handle any variation of a question type confidently. Exam technique — structured working, answer checking, time management, and past paper practice — is a consistent and major focus throughout every series of sessions.
