About Mutiat
I’m a passionate STEM tutor with lots of experience teaching maths and helping students prepare for internal exams, Key Stage 3, and the SAT. I’m currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Project Management in the UK, and I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs. I use interactive activities and scaffolding techniques to make tricky concepts easier to understand. I’ve worked with learners from Year 1 up to Key Stage 3, both online and in-person, creating lessons that build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and encourage independent learning. My approach is patient, supportive, and aimed at helping students not just succeed, but also enjoy maths.

In my lessons, I guide students step by step, making tricky maths concepts easier to understand through interactive, student-focused activities. I use examples, visual aids, and hands-on exercises to keep learning engaging and fun. Students are encouraged to ask questions and solve problems in real time, ensuring they fully grasp each concept before moving on. Lessons usually last an hour, but I adjust the pace to suit each student. I have experience teaching Year 1–6, Key Stage 3, and preparing students for the SAT. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each learner, helping them gain confidence, strengthen their skills, and enjoy maths.
