About Siya
I have over 3 years of experience teaching mathematics and hold an MPhil in Mathematics. My approach goes beyond just solving problems — I focus on reducing math anxiety and building confidence in learners of all ages. I understand how overwhelming math can feel, especially for those who have struggled before. That’s why I use growth mindset techniques to help students see mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow. Each student learns at their own pace, so I personalize lessons to fit their needs and comfort levels. Positive reinforcement is a big part of my teaching style, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions and take risks. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can develop a strong understanding of math. I have worked with many students who once felt lost or frustrated, and together we transformed their mindset and skills. My teaching approach in maths focuses on building a strong foundation through clear explanations and practical exercises.
