About Michael
Hello! I'm Michael, a dedicated educator passionate about helping students discover that math can actually make sense.
I've worked with students across all grade levels, from young learners just starting their math journey to secondary students preparing for important exams. I understand that every student has different strengths, challenges, and ways of learning.
What I love most about teaching math is that "aha moment" when a concept finally clicks. I've seen countless students go from saying "I hate math" to actually enjoying problem-solving, and that transformation never gets old.
My teaching style is patient and encouraging. I create a safe space where mistakes are learning opportunities, not failures. I remember finding certain math topics difficult myself, so I know how frustrating it can feel when numbers don't cooperate.
Whether your child is falling behind, keeping up, or ready to get ahead, I'll work with them at their own pace to build both skills and confidence in mathematics.
