About Vicky
I have over 15 years’ experience teaching Mathematics across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, including IGCSE and IB Diploma, in both state and leading independent schools. For tutoring, I now specialise in supporting KS3, GCSE and IGCSE students, helping them build confidence, deepen understanding, and develop strong exam technique.
I am passionate about teaching and building positive relationships with my students, allowing me to understand their individual needs and tailor lessons effectively. I believe a supportive and encouraging environment is key to helping students enjoy Mathematics, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential.

I always begin by building a strong, positive relationship with my students and getting to know how they learn best. This helps me gain a clear understanding of their individual needs and identify any gaps in their understanding of Mathematics. From there, I tailor each lesson to support their progress in a calm, encouraging, and structured way.
My tutoring is structured, supportive, and exam-focused, and I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and able to make real progress. I focus on strengthening core mathematical understanding alongside effective exam technique, using clear explanations, guided practice, and regular exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy.
Lessons are 60 minutes, delivered online only, and carefully planned around each student’s goals and areas for improvement.
