About Dominic
I was a full time student at the University of Leeds studying Mathematics, and have just completed my Honours Masters Degree with a very high First. I am looking to tutor people in need of help, mostly for experience. I have a passion for teaching and because of this, I am considering going into teaching but want more experience. I often helped friends in my year both at School and at University, whether it be helping them with homework or actually teaching them chapters from certain modules.
Additional to my degree, I achieved an A* in both GCSE Maths and A Level Maths. I have done so well throughout my qualifications because I have a clear understanding of Maths and more importantly I have always enjoyed it. I also really enjoy helping others.
I tutored 3 students for over the past year, back in Leeds during my final year at University. All of my students have told me that I am excellent at communicating and explaining difficult concepts, as well as being very confident, especially when talking about Maths which I've had to do all entire life.
I hope you consider me when you are looking for tutors, as it would be a privilege to be chosen to help you or your child with their Maths related problems! There's no fixed contracts or tricks, I'm very flexible and I'll tutor you for however long you want, whenever you want (if I'm available), where ever you want (if you don't live too far away) and you can end the sessions at any time for as long as you want (even permanently). I've taught a student at primary level, a student at GCSE level and a student taking their A Levels so have a broad range of practice tutoring all levels.
I structure my lessons based on each student. Everyone is different and prefer different approaches. However they want me to teach them, I will go with that and try my best to help them. Usually, I start with the pupils' weakest topics which they aren't confident on and work on from there.
