About Rohan
I'm a friendly, experienced tutor with over 6 years of experience. I taught for two years in colleges (City and Islington in Finsbury Park and College of North East London in Tottenham) teaching Maths GCSE and A level but left to become a full time tutor. I have a degree in Mathematics and a PGCE in teaching Mathematics.
I am happy to travel to teach in person but also fully equipped for online tutoring. I am extremely patient and meticulously plan each lesson to suit the learner's needs.
My style of teaching involves firstly assessing the student and identifying pre-existing strengths and weaknesses. Then I work on their difficulties and tailor the lessons to suit their needs along with frequent exam practice.
Currently, i would prefer to teach online due to the pandemic but would be happy to travel to you once it's over. If you would rather have lessons face to face once the lockdown is over, then I must insist on wearing a mask at all times, the learner to sit diagonally opposite and hand sanitizer to be available. I will also add a surcharge for travel expenses.
Other Qualifications :
I have achieved a grade 8 in practical and theory for the piano.
