Nicole began tutoring my son during the final few months of his GCSE studies. At the time, his confidence in maths was quite low, and he often struggled to fully engage, particularly when faced with more complex questions.

From the very first sessions, Nicole was fantastic. Her calm, patient approach created a supportive environment where he felt comfortable taking his time, asking questions, and working through problems without pressure. She has a real talent for breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and helping students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why a method works.

As the weeks went on, we could both see a noticeable improvement in his confidence and attitude towards maths. He became much more willing to tackle challenging questions and, perhaps most importantly, started enjoying the subject again.

Nicole also provided excellent support from a parent’s perspective.
