About Barry
I have worked in several one-to-one tutorial colleges in Oxford and have taught hundreds of students. This has amounted to several thousand hours. I can teach 13+ common entrance to A-level further mathematics. I also have a professionally lit two-camera Zoom setup for online tuition.

My aim is to produce a positive working environment. Mistakes are seen only as information for improvement. I encourage my students not to judge themselves by them. I teach for one hour but I prefer 90 minutes because it allows momentum to build.
My work in one-to-one tutorial collges in Oxford has produced thousands of hours of tutorials. I have a MSc in theoretical physics and a PhD in Shakespeare studies. My books of mathematics and logic puzzles have been published by major publishers (Cambridge University Press, Taylor and Francis, Dover Publications, Puzzlewright Press). I also compile for a national newspaper.
I can teach all ages.
