About Mark
I am a postgraduate MBA student with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics and analytical subjects, achieving top grades throughout my studies. My strength lies in breaking down complex mathematical concepts into clear, simple steps that students can understand and apply confidently.
I have extensive experience supporting students preparing for entrance into secondary school, as well as tutoring learners who struggle with confidence in Mathematics. I have also provided structured maths tutorials within academic and professional environments, helping colleagues strengthen their numerical and analytical skills.
My teaching approach is calm, methodical and highly structured. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding, reinforcing core principles, and building strong foundations in arithmetic, algebra, statistics and problem solving. Every session is tailored to the individual student’s level and learning style.
I believe confidence in Mathematics comes from clarity and consistent practice. My goal is to help students move from uncertainty to independence, equipping them with both competence and long-term confidence.

Each lesson is structured and tailored to the student’s current level and goals. I begin by identifying specific gaps in understanding and clarifying key concepts step by step. We then work through guided examples before moving to independent practice to reinforce learning.
For primary and secondary students, I focus on building strong foundations in arithmetic, fractions, percentages, algebra, statistics and problem solving. I use clear explanations, logical methods and structured exercises to ensure deep understanding rather than memorisation.
Where appropriate, we incorporate exam-style questions and timed practice to improve accuracy, speed and confidence. Progress is reviewed regularly so students and parents can clearly see improvement.
My aim in every lesson is to create clarity, strengthen core skills and build lasting confidence in Mathematics.
